LIVING BEYOND EXCUSES-How to Deal with Disloyalty

LIVING BEYOND EXCUSES

How to Deal with Disloyalty

REVELATION 12:9

So “the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, ‘who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

1. The Teaching Method

# Preventive management through teaching is better than crisis management.

# Teaching helps to fight against deception, which is sponsored by the devil (Rev. 12:9)

2. The Nicolaitan Method

# The church and its leadership developed a hatred and aversion for disloyalty and disloyal people.

# God commended the Ephesian church for this method (Rev. 2:6).

3. The North Wind Method

# Those who complain, slander, murmur are always looking for someone to poison.

# By your facial expression, don’t give them the chance (Pro. 25:23).

4. The Abrahamic Method

# This is the method of peaceful separation.

# When mature individuals want to avoid the deadly effects of conflicts, they part ways in peace (Gen. 13:7-11).

5. The “Casting Out” Method

# This means to dismiss, expel, eject, banish, fire, sack, discard, unseat, or lay off the person.

Many times failure to cast out is like failing to do a surgery that will save life.

It means weakness on leadership. Pro. 22:10.

6. The Marking and Avoiding Method

# It means to brand or label such disloyal people.

Rom. 16:17, 18.

7. The Cursing Method

# In order to prevent charlatans from deceiving the church, Paul used this method (Gal. 1:8).

# David did not fight against Joab but spiritually took it up with this method (2 Sam. 3:29).

Conclusion

# Acts 8:21 – the importance of having a right heart before God and people.

Jesus is the way!
