INTRODUCTION:
The Christmas Story is incomplete without the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Indeed Jesus family line story or genealogy explain why living must be purposeful, because life is neither accidental nor incidental in history. the characters in the genealogy fell into a long standing plan of God and they played their parts. Though the story sounds boring and some names difficult to pronounce. However, there are lesson that God wants us to learn as we celebrate the birth of Jesus

a. We have no control over who do certain things for us
b. Stop blaming the past and embrace the future that is fund in God’s plan
c. You have your weakness but you should learn to trust in God’s grace for help

e. Your linage is not what matter but surrender to Jesus completely
CONCLUSION:
Jesus shapes history. The story of all these men and women were transformed because of Jesus. He is still doing same today, in fact that is the very reason why He was born and why we also celebrate His birth. He came to give hope and direction. Your history can never be complete without Jesus. He want to rewrite you story will you allow Him. Luke 19:10.
