Devotion to Accountability
Heb. 10:24-25
DEFINITION:
“The obligation of an individual or organization to account for its activities, accept responsibility for them, and to disclose the results in a transparent manner. It also includes the responsibility for money or other entrusted property.”
Accountability is simply being responsible for someone or something
Accountability means that your actions must rise above your excuses
UNDERSTANDING CONTEXT:

Let us draw near to God
Let us hold fast to our faith
Let us CONSIDER one another
“CONSIDER” in the Gk. NT = “to fully observe/ consider/discover/perceive/ behold”
Mat. 7:3 consider/discover the beam in your own eye
Lk. 20:23 considered/ perceived their craftiness

God calls us to CONSIDER
- love God and people
- good works
- gathering together for fellowship
- our future hope of the 2nd coming of Christ
Without doubt, the one word that adequately describes what God desires from us is: ACCOUNTABILITY God wants to see that your actions rise higher than your excuses.

Conclusion
A life of accountability starts with giving your life to Jesus Christ as your only Savior and Lord. Believe in the Lord Jesus in your heart and confess him as your Savior with your mouth.
